I LOVE this coffee maker. The reviewers that had problems must be idiots and not know how to use it or care for it because I've had mine for over a year and it is great. I love that it's programmable and I can wake up to that delicious coffee smell. Also, when I'm driving to work I don't have to think, "Oh no! Did I turn off the coffee maker?" because it turns off automatically after 2 hours. Another feature I like is that you can set it to brew "strong" or "regular." I've found I can put less coffee in the filter, set it on "strong", and stretch my coffee out longer- having to buy it less often- but with the same strength & taste I prefer. I also recommend buying the permanent filter.
I think this is a great coffee maker with very nice features - especially for the money. :)

Trusted the Mr. Coffee name, but only had this item under a year. It stopped pumping water out of the chamber one day so I cleaned it. Then, when I ran the 'strong' coffee process, as I usually brew it, not only did it still not pump water out, it started to steam from the spout under the control area. The steam discolored the plastic front, killed the digital clock and the unit got so hot, I unplugged it. After I read some of the other consumer problems with it, I threw it away as being too dangerous.

FYI for eveyone looking at this coffee maker. I fell in love with this when I saw it in the store. It looks great. I was worried about the reviews because they all said that it started to leak, or pit. The hot plate also flaked off as well. Well, after a couple of years, ours did as well. Good news, I phoned the Mr. coffee and had a very nice conversation with them. They said that it should be cleaned with 4C white vinegar followed with 4C of water monthly. After telling them about the reviews, they are sending me a free replacement! Now that is service!

Loved the color, but the tank only lasted about 1 1/2 years. We didn't even use it every day.

we loved the sleek look but a warning it seemed to leak water from the bottom from the very beginning also we know someone else who had the same issue with it.. then this morning after having it only roughly a year it just died I think the heating element went .. we are saddened, the look was great but the mess and early death of it wasn't

I was reluctant to purchase this item after reading so many mixed reviews, but I took a chance. It was easy to program and brewed great coffee. I really liked being able to adjust coffee temperature and strenght. I didn't have any problems with leaks or noises, or whatever else other people complained of. However, I've only had this machine about a year, and it just quit working. No warning. Just quit. I certainly expected it to last longer. That's why I give it 2 stars, despite the good coffee.

I like my coffee strong and as hot as possible. I love the fact that you can control the temp and stength of the brew.

This is my 3rd one in this series and never had any complaints.

I have had this coffee maker for about 1 year, it's still working great. Makes great coffee and is super cute in the red color. I am picky about coffee, I don't get any type of strange after taste from this one, also really enjoy the water filter that it comes with. Highly recommend.

This coffee pot was a wedding gift about a year ago, we love it, although we don't use it every day it still works great! Would totally recommend this product.
